Harnessing the power of the sun to break the cycle of poverty.

The Challenge

600 million Africans lack access to electricity40% of the total population.

Even where the electricity grid is functional, in many locations power is only supplied for a few hours a day. Off-grid electricity generation relies primarily on gas or diesel-powered generators. Additionally, dependence on fossil fuel increases poverty, feeds corruption, authoritarian tendencies, conflict over scarce resources.

We see this as a solvable problem.

Africa’s solar potential is far greater than any other continent.

Using local expertise in solar panel and battery storage production and electrical engineering, provide access to solar power for electricity in places that sorely need it, especially those facing the worst effects of climate change.
