Our Story

Electricity is fundamental for a flourishing society. Accessible solar energy opens a direct pathway to building electrified, empowered communities, improving livelihoods and food security while catalyzing accountable, locally led governance.

Solar power is not an end in itself but an enabling platform, one that strengthens economic resilience and long-term development across every sector it touches.

Our Team

Combining backgrounds in civil society, climate tech, business, education, humanitarian response, and democracy-building, the SunRoots team thrives on co-creating solutions that build community productivity and stability.
